INTERIOR
INFINITI QX50

The INFINITI QX50 and the Audi Q5 are luxury SUVs, which means you’ll find plenty of greatness in their cabins. Ample space fills the cabin while affluent furnishings add an opulent flair. With all the comfort you need in either option, which SUV will make you feel most at home?

Sit Atop Premium Textiles

Differences in comfort level and available space arise when examining both SUVs. In the QX50, three materials can furnish the seats. These options include standard leatherette, available leather, and upgraded semi-aniline leather appointments. The front seats also come with 8-way power adjustability to position you for visibility and comfort.

The Audi Q5 does provide leather seating standard; however, that’s the only material available.

Space Comes Standard

There’s also more space to stretch out in the INFINITI QX50 cabin with 38.7 inches of rear legroom, 41 inches of front headroom, and 39.1 inches of rear headroom. With the back seats folded down, you’ll be able to store up to 65.1 cubic feet of cargo.

Less space comes with the Audi Q5. It has 38 inches of rear legroom. As for headroom, you’ll get 39.6 inches in the front with 39.3 inches in the back. It also carries less baggage with only 54 cubic feet of maximum cargo space, which is over 10 cubic feet less than what you’ll find in the QX50.

SAFETY
INFINITI QX50

Your safety is a top priority in the QX50 and the Q5. These two vehicles equip standard safety suites and driver-assistance features to ensure your well-being on any given road. However, the INFINITI’s advanced monitoring system keeps you well-prepared for sights unseen.

Eyes in the Back of Your SUV

When it comes to safety, it’s once again the little differences that best inform you about how these two vehicles compare. Blind Spot Warning and Rear Automatic Braking come standard in the INFINITI QX50.

The standard Audi side assist equips the Q5 with its own version of blind spot warning. Rear Automatic Braking, however, is not available with the Q5.

Wraparound Safety

Both models sport surround-view cameras for safely exiting and entering tight parking spots. The INFINITI QX50 supplies an available Around View® Monitor with Moving Object Detection, while the Audi Q5 offers the optional top view camera system. It doesn’t, however, offer Moving Object Detection, so you’ll have superior visibility in the QX50.
